Kristen Anne Bell (born 1980) is a popular American actor and singer. She was born in Huntington Woods and raised there. She's the daughter Lorelei Frygier and Tom Bell. Her heritage includes Polish (mother) as well as German, English, Irish and Scottish (father). Kristen was already a talented entertainer in the early stages. She was cast in the role of Raggedy Ann in 1992 after attending her first audition. Bell received an agent who was appointed by her mother before the age of 13 and was cast as a model on newspapers and television commercials. At this time she began taking private acting lessons. Bell played a small part that was not credited to her on the film Polish Wedding (1998), in 1998. Bell was a member of the drama and music club of Shrine Catholic High School. She was the star as Dorothy in her high school's play The Wizard of Oz. Bell was a student of music theatre in the world-renowned Tisch School of the Arts in New York City after graduating. Bell, who graduated in 2001, left her college studies in order to take on in the role of Becky in Tom Sawyer. In the same year, she starred in Pootie Tang however, the sequence in which she appeared was cut. In the end, only her credit sequence exists. Bell was in the Broadway revival of The Crucible starring Liam Neeson & Angela Bettis.
